Wednesday and Thursday were relatively quiet around here. We went to the gym in the morning but beyond some house cleaning, there wasn't much else done.

Until Tween offered to help Lil Miss make some of the Easy Bake stuff she got for her birthday. She was VERY excited :)

LOL, oh those complicated light bulb heatin machines!

Lil Miss sure had a good time with it though. She made the frosting ...

And decorated the cake ...

And ate her cookie cake. lol

According to her and Flower Child, it was not as horrible as we thought it might be ;)

Friday was our BUSY day.

We left the house at about 9 and hit the gym. I worked out, took a GLORIOUSLY uninterrupted shower, got dressed AND even put on MAKE UP ... ALL BY MYSELF! LOL (that ONLY happens at the gym lol)

After picking up the girls from the gym's kid's club, we left to pick up Teen from her sleep over. Then it was on to my FAVORITE STORE IN TOWN, TAGS Consignment. They were having their bi-annual sale, 50% OFF STORE WIDE!!!

We MADE OUT! I got a pair of white capris and a yellow cardi I have been SEARCHING for for MONTHS (Ann Taylor and PERFECT condition!), and Teen got a pair of Banana Republic shorts, a beige tank, a green and white tank, and a gray and white stripped tee!

I also got myself an AWESOME pair of earrings and a super pretty bracelet!

After our AWESOME score at Tags, we went for lunch on our way to a pool playdate :)

I LOVE hanging out with my girls :) Even though it was a long time in the store for them, they did REALLY well! It's so fun even just sitting and talking with them :)

After our lunch we headed out to have a pool playdate with our friends!

The kids had a great time playing with each other and all the cool pool stuff!

And I got to talk to my friend and work on my tan :)

The girls always have a GREAT time together and we hated to leave! But we STILL had to hit Target :-/

The car is without AC right now and it tends to make us all a little crabby. But we needed a birthday gift, bras and dinner makins, so ... where else ya gonna go? LOL

It had been a DAY and I was totally ready to call it a night at about 7pm when the Hubs finally got home from work. But instead I decided that since Teen was here we should use her! LOL

I suggested we call us a cab and head out for a drink or two and even though he was tired and hurting from work he got that little gleam in his eye that we BOTH get whenever we think about being OUTSIDE of the house ALONE! It's hard to say no to that!!

So we got dressed. It's nice when you live in a small town that's pretty countrified and you're heading to a place that has had actual HORSES *IN* the bar, you don't REALLY have to get TOO dressed up ;) It's nice not to have TOO much pressure LOL

It was SO much fun though :) It's great to take the cab down and not have to worry about ANYTHING. Plus, they pour pretty heavy handedly so it's nice to just enjoy a good cheap but STIFF drink ;) We were in such a great and relaxed mood when we left :) It was a GREAT night!
